Yup. Some news to you guys. Stregoni Benefici is going to undergo some remaking soon. Meaning, probably in about a month. We're looking to change the entire purpose of the site and instead of it just being a "Twilight" fan site, it'll be a Stephenie Meyer Fan Site. Isa and I thought this would be a good idea considering we can focus a lot on all of Stephenie Meyers workings, like "The Host" and her daily life, yada yada yada.
In other news, the graphic section will be for the revamp. Once everything's up and working, we'll put those back up. We also hired some lovely people to help us out. I don't know their names. Sorry. >>; But yes, your beloved graphics will be up soon along with the revamp.
We don't know anybody that can make Forum skins and that's a downfall on our part. We have all the pages up but it's just not very pretty. So, until we find someone who can make forum skins, the forum will be closed off to all members. So please, if you know how to make forum skins, please e-mail one of our staff like me or Marisa. Thanks.
Okay. Now on to Twilight News --->
We all know that Robert Pattinson was casted for Edward. A lot of people are upset and a lot are jumping with joy. We'd like to state that Stephenie had nothing to do with the casting choices. Usually, being an author of a book that'll be coming out in a movie, doesn't do you much justice. When you're the author, you don't much of a say in how everything goes. It's the casting team and Writer and Director that has all the power. So, basically it was, except Robert, or the movie deal was off. Of course, it probably wasn't that harsh, ^^; but that's movie business folks.

Here's the deal. I've been noticing quite a lot of people asking us questions like, "Where do we put things for the scrapbook?", "How can we email you?", and also, I've deleted some comments about playlist songs. You guys have got to read and look around. Our e-mails are in our staff page and the scrapbook info is on the pretty little picture to the right. Now, the thing is, we're not making a scrapbook because it seems a lot of people have already done that and it's just not cool anymore. We'll get back to you on what we will be doing.
Now, as for the playlist suggestions, we've set up a lovely form for you to fill out. It directs you DIRECTLY TO OUR EMAIL. PLEASE DON'T POST THEM IN COMMENTS. If I get one more comment suggesting a song, I may just remove the fan playlist from the site. Guys, please follow the rules. It makes our lifes here at Stregoni Benefici a lot easier.
In other news, we've said it before. Our new staff members are Lei and Wendi. Wendi and I also have the same birthday so make sure you wish her a happy birthday because we didn't mention it in my birthday post. Okay. I think that's it.

Hey guys! CNN interviewed Stephenie Meyer the other day. There isn't any new information in the interview, but it's actually a good interview. They don't seem to focus only on how she's becoming the next J.K. Rowling like a lot of others do. So give it a watch!

Stephenie Meyer is having her very own contest! I'm going to attempt to enter this, though I highly doubt I'll win. I never win anything! Plus, when you consider just how many people will probably enter this...there's no way I have a chance. BUT I'D HATE MYSELF IF I DIDN'T TRY!

Okay, so I was M.I.A. for the past five days due to the fact that I was watching the entire first season of Heroes while juggling my home schooling an my job. During these five days I missed a VERY important day! The birthday of our beloved webmistress, my ultimate partner in crime, Kelly!
Just so you all know, her birthday was on the 2nd of October, but there's nothing wrong with wishing her a late birthday! So go a head and leave a comment with a nice birthday message! Kelly deserves it!
Also, while we're on the subject of Kelly. Her and her friend Wendy are going to be getting character profiles up and updating the current information. While I'll be working with Nora on a graphics gallery, new layout for the website, and getting a forum up. So, temporarily I'm disregarding fan of the month. No one applied for it anyways, and I'm being a slacker. Just know we'll be making a lot of changes to the website as soon as possible. |

Why: I had always seen Twilight on the book shelf at my local bookstore, but had never picked it up.(this is before it was a huge phenomenom.) But one day, I took the leap and read the flap. It sounded interesting, so I bought it. What follows can only be described as outright obsession. I must have read Twilight more than 10 times in the first 6 months I had it. It remains one of my favortie love stories ever. And I am a girl who has read a lot of love stories. New Moon and Eclipse, which followed, were equally fantastic. I think I like Eclipse more than Twilight! That's because it is really romantic, and if I am anything, I am a hopeless romantic. It is such a pleasure and a delight to read something so fresh and new. Other teen books seem to deal with nasty girls stealing each others boyfriends, or drugs. The Twilight Saga is something that is pure and beautiful, a masterpiece of literature, and, I am sure, a labor of love.
